McQueen Of The World

Alexander McQueen's last collection was shown last week in Paris on March 9. It was utterly flawless. I know we're going to see a lot of the pieces shown in editorials in the fall fashion magazines. The world lost a true visionary. This is a collection to be cherished forever.

The Worst of the Worst

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture

I do like Zoe Saldana's dress, but not for an awards show. The same goes for Charlize Theron. Jennifer Lopez's didn't fit her body well, although it was a gorgeous dress on the runway and I even talked about here. Rachel McAdams was the best! So elegant and gorgeous. Kristen Stewart surprised me, Nicole Richie pulled it off well as someone I never expected to grace the red carpet at the Oscars, and Diane Kruger did not disappoint!

Underland

Some of my favorite looks from Christian Dior Ready-to-Wear Fall 2010. Simple touches of ruffles, furs, leather, and a delicious color palette make the looks seem effortless and timeless. Mixing the leather with flowing dresses keeps the collection from being overtly sweet, but impossibly chic. The top hats will make anyone feel as mad as a hatter.

Balmain Ready-to-Wear Fall 2010. Full of short short short dresses featuring leopard prints, fringe, belts, sequins, and gold galore!

And then we have these three lovely stunners also from Balmain. Perfectly dramatic rock & roll glamour.
