Barbie World

Literally every piece in Christian Dior's Resort 2011 is magnificent. The colors alone make it dreamy and delightful. With a throwback to the 50's/60's, it celebrates the woman and her body. The way the ruffles flow and sweep down the side of the gowns is gorgeous. Also, the shorter dresses, trench coats, leather jackets, and pantsuits covers a need in every wardrobe.

Lots of pastel shades of blues, pinks, and lavenders. Big ball gowns in brights shades to ones in metal gray, black, and white. Parisian chic 20's influence flows into 60's/70's hippie chic and pantsuits. Big bows, patterns, stripes, florals, and layering. Short dresses to floor length. Resort collections were about designers mixing simple spring looks with a fall infusion.
