The Queen

Gaga looking breathtaking in Alexander McQueen from his last collection. Breaks my heart.

Also rocking some meat by Franc Fernandez. Why not.

And this devilishly glamorous black gown designed by Giorgio Armani.

Lady G took home 8 VMA awards tonight and looked amazing the entire night.

Beaucoup amounts of Carey Mulligan on here lately, but I don't care, she looks adorable here.

And yes, the title is misspelled intentionally.

Runaway Love

"I'm a blonde bombshell and I wear it well. I'm sweet sixteen and a rebel queen. And I look real hot in my tight blue jeans." - The Runaways, Dead End Justice

The Runaways impacted rock music history by being the first all female rock & roll group. In a few short years before they disbanded, girls everywhere worshiped them. What they had was the power of teenage rebellion, actual talent, and a look that drove boys wild. Take Cherie Currie, the glam lead singer, and Joan Jett, the tough biker chic on guitar, and you have influential and quintessential 70's style that many still emulate today.

Sexed up and rocked out, The Runaways ran the stage in leather, glitter, thigh high boots, jumpsuits, and fishnets. They knew the importance their image would have on their music - it really became the full package.

Since the release of The Runaways movie this year, a new generation was introduced to a time when girls were not welcomed in the world of rock & roll. It showed how the group took charge of their sexuality and used it to their advantage through their wardrobe.

Influenced heavily by David Bowie, their look was "California girl runs away to NYC to become a rock star". And they did just that.
